Buyer Questions About Motorcycle Rear Rack and Crash Bar Manufacturing

FAQ

Questions Buyers Confirm Before Custom Motorcycle Metal Parts Production

These answers explain how our Foshan factory reviews motorcycle rear racks, crash bars and three-wheeler spare parts before quotation, sample making, fitment checking, production, packing and shipment.

Quotation

What information do you need for a quote?

Please send the motorcycle model, year, sales country, mounting-point photos, drawing or sample, expected quantity, surface finish and packing requirements. Before quoting, we check tube route, bracket complexity, hole position and whether fixture or mold work is needed.

What is the MOQ for motorcycle rear racks and crash bars?

MOQ depends on the part structure and setup work, not only the product name. Tube diameter, bracket count, hardware bag content, black or custom finish, carton request and whether an existing fixture can be used all affect the starting quantity.

Sample & Mold

How long does a sample take?

A simple sample is usually about one week after the drawing, sample, key dimensions and finish are confirmed. If the part needs new bending setup, punching or drilling positions, notching or a new fixture, we confirm that schedule before giving a sample date.

What happens after we send a drawing?

We first read the drawing against the actual tube structure, bracket position and mounting-hole distance. Then the workshop prepares cutting length, bending angle, punching or drilling, notching and welding steps before making a sample for fitment approval.

Can you produce based on a physical sample?

Yes. A physical sample helps us check tube shape, mounting points, bracket thickness, weld position and surface finish more clearly than photos alone. We still need model information and key dimensions so the new sample matches the buyer's target market.

Fitment

How do you confirm fitment before mass production?

We check mounting points, bracket position, body clearance, left-right symmetry and sample feedback before mass production. For rear racks and crash bars, fitment approval is more important than the product photo because a small hole-distance change can affect installation.

Why can the same model name need different parts?

The same motorcycle name can have different frame versions, body panels, seat tail shapes or crash bar clearance in different years and sales markets. Photos of the mounting points, side panels and body clearance help us avoid making a rack or guard for the wrong version.

Production

How long does bulk production take after sample approval?

Bulk timing depends on quantity, automatic tube cutting volume, bending setup, punching or drilling work, welding load, surface finish, hardware kit preparation and packing requirements. We confirm lead time after the approved sample, finish standard and carton plan are clear.

Can you support private label packaging?

Yes. We can prepare labels, carton marks, hardware bag layout and protective packing according to the buyer's private-label requirement. It is better to confirm these details before batch production so the packing line follows the same checklist from the first carton.

Quality Control

How do you inspect products before shipment?

Inspection focuses on tube diameter, wall thickness, bending angle, mounting-hole distance, welding position, product flatness, surface finish, labels, carton condition and hardware bag checklist. For model-specific parts, we pay special attention to the holes and brackets that affect fitment.

What is your Three-Stage Inspection Flow?

Incoming material check reviews tube diameter, wall thickness and material condition. In-process checks cover cutting length, bending angle, mounting-hole distance, left-right symmetry, robotic welding points and manual welding details. Final packing check reviews surface finish, hardware bags, labels, carton condition and packing photos before shipment.

Why do some products have surface peeling or damage?

Surface peeling or damage may come from material condition, pre-treatment, coating thickness, handling between processes or carton protection. We ask for clear photos and batch information, then trace the issue through finish requirement, workshop handling and packing method.

Packaging

How is packaging confirmed?

Packaging is confirmed by product size, surface protection needs, hardware bag checklist, label position, carton layout, pieces per carton and loading requirements. For bulky rear racks, crash bars and three-wheeler spare parts, carton structure and protection points matter as much as the outside label.

How do you reduce missing hardware?

We use a hardware bag checklist and match screws, spacers, brackets and labels before packing. Buyers can provide their own list for model-specific kits, and packing photos can be kept as a shipment record.

After-Sales

How do you respond if a buyer reports a problem?

After-sales response starts with photos, model details, order records, carton label and batch information. We trace whether the problem comes from model version, production dimension, welding position, surface finish, missing hardware or packing damage.

Can you keep our drawing or sample confidential?

Buyer drawings, samples and model information are used for quotation, fixture discussion and sample development only. If a project needs stricter confidentiality, confirm the requirement before sending drawings or physical samples to the factory.

Next Step

Send the Motorcycle Model You Need

Please include the model, year, sales country, mounting-point photos, drawing or sample information, surface finish, packing requirement and expected quantity. We will check fitment, tube structure, sample work and production steps before quotation.
